This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal information when you register for and attend IC Ireland events, including networking events, workshops, webinars and other community activities.

For individuals in the United Kingdom, we process personal data in accordance with the GDPR as incorporated into UK law by the Data Protection Act 2018.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we do not fall within the categories of organisations required to appoint one under Article 37 of the GDPR.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal information for the following purposes:
Event Administration
We process the information needed to register you for and administer IC Ireland events, manage attendance, respond to event enquiries, and send confirmations, calendar invitations and event updates.
Where you provide optional company, job title or LinkedIn profile details, we use them to support event administration, attendee engagement and professional networking activities associated with IC Ireland events.

Dietary requirements are not included in attendee networking lists.
Optional Attendee Networking Lists
We rely on your consent to share the details you select in the registration form with other registered attendees before the event.
Participation in attendee networking lists is entirely optional and does not affect your registration or attendance.
You may withdraw your consent before the attendee networking list is distributed by emailing hello@flanagancommunications.com.
Withdrawal of consent will not affect any processing already carried out before consent was withdrawn. Once a networking list has been distributed, we may not be able to retrieve copies received by attendees.

We may use registration and attendance information to understand attendance levels, improve event planning and enhance future IC Ireland events.
Where possible, we will use aggregated or anonymised information for these purposes.
