How to deal with the last straw
We've all been there. You're working hard, doing your best and nailing it. Senior leadership are happy, your boss is glad, and you're delighted 🌟 .
But then you have the "you're great at your work; here's more of it to do" conversation with your boss.
You have been doing well at your job. But now, a challenging change project has been added to your list, and you're unsure whether you can do it all to the standard you want. You feel overwhelmed.⚡
➡ So much to do.
➡ So much to think of.
➡ So much that could go wrong.
So, what can you do?
✅ Don't panic. Stop and take a deep breath.
✅ Make a plan. Break projects down into manageable chunks and prioritise them.
✅ Communicate and manage expectations regarding:
1️⃣ What can be done.
2️⃣ By when.
3️⃣ To what standard.
You may need to redefine priorities, scopes and/or timelines.
